At sunrise the snow on the Jura seems to light up. I have been drawing its shape this week, looking from west to east. Drawings of 27/1/14, 28/1/14 and 29/1/14 |

Cally Trench Dolls' faces appear both human and object-like. We recognise their similarity to our own faces and attribute character and mood to the dolls, while still understanding that they are inanimate.
Drawings of 29/1/14, 31/1/14 and 02/1/14 |

In the end I changed the subject, to hell with beautiful orchids, I followed my dark side! In winter, the low sun projects long shadows of my wrought iron front door, all the way to the end of the space. The shadow moves along the walls, climbs the stairs, passage of time ... I have tried to follow them with Indian ink. Drawings of 30/1/14, 1/2/14 and 2/2/14 |
